Failed Ice Cream #2 from Jena Duncan on Vimeo.


So i messed up the ice cream. I had to first boil milk and then stir in eggs/maple syrup until it thickens. The recipe i was looking at didn't say how long that was but found out that you're only supposed to thicken it for like 1 or 2 minutes. I kept cooking it for 5 to 10 minutes and in result cooked the egg into a lumpy goo. I was going to proceed anyway but it just didn't look good. And since i double the recipe i had no more eggs to start over. so bummer. I'm going to try again. maybe third times a charm?
